The Regent Street is a video montage comprised primarily, though not entirely, of still images. It incorporates details from two very different image sources, Gustave Courbet’s painting The Burial at Ornans (1851) and Paul Fusco’s series of photographs, RFK Funeral Train from 1968. Details taken from these images are edited together with new photographs shot on one day in Regent Street, London.
